I like the thorough description in every chapter, but it will be more interesting if the scope is bigger thus we can see comparison between generations in US and other part of the world

A really interesting sociological read! I appreciated the way she talked about each generation, provided context for what may fuel their outlooks and opinions, and then also drew comparisons and contrasting points between them. For me the toughest pill to swallow was that based on her cutoffs I got booted from the millennials to the zoomers as a ‘95 baby lol.

Great book tracing the growth and differences between generations - Silents, Boomers, Gen X, Millennial, Gen Z and Alphas. We see how individualism grows, technology changes everything and people move through life more slowly.

Worth a read if you’re interested in generational differences.

So much is missing from this book. So many dots unconnected, so many dots not even there, an apparent dislike of millennials and gen Z. So much just flat out missing.

Yet i'd be lying if I said I didn't learn anything from this book, that I didn't get anything out of it. That said, what I mostly got out of it, was frustration. For so many reasons but I am tired and do not give a fuck about trying to remember it all. I read it on Scribd, thankfully I didn't waste money on this.

Then again, i'm a 34 year old 1989 born millennial and an afab bisexual nonbinary trans man so... what the fuck do I know? #Sarcasm

Interesting but very statistic heavy. Twenge sometimes adopts a tone that doesn’t feel appropriate sand shows her bias
