If people are writing AU storylines for Buffy comics, can I send them some awesome Fuffy fanfics that can be made into comics? This was an okay read for a first issue. The artwork wasn't the greatest though.

I don't know where we stand. I thought this was also going to start at the end of the final TV season but go in a different direction. However, it seems to be a completely alternate universe and I don't know if I really want that. I already purchased the 2nd issue so I'll read it and decide from there.

An interesting take on Buffy Summers and the slayer mythology! Excited to see how they tie this up in four issues.

I can confidently say out of all the buffy-related material that has come out in recent, this is the most attention-catching and solid. The first volume catches your attention, grips your emotions, and intrigues you as to what has happened in the years we haven't seen our favorite crew. I'm excited to continue on and see where the story goes! (As a plus, the art style is very dynamic!)

So I sadly didn't pick up issue two of this, which is a shame: that cliffhanger. I actually like this better than the ongoing series right now...
