Free and Isis BABYYYYYYY. Had a girl on her toes waiting for what was gonna happen next lol. Loved reading about these two and watching them come together. Honestly going to go back and read everything Ms. Kema has written.

I had to sit with my thoughts on this one. I listened to the audiobook, and I know this is a novella, but everything happened so fast! To the point that I was left a little unfulfilled and underwhelmed. The Narrators, however, were excellent!

Damn…. I want a Freedom, he’s a book Bae to remember and Isis is running from love due to her witnessing the hurt of others. Very enjoyable and entertaining story from beginning to end.

This was okay. I wish certain parts were more detailed (I don't know if this is part of a series, and I was missing something). I wish there was more of them dating after they decided to be together for real. I got to say it, Isis got on my nerves a little bit, but she came to her senses. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was short and easy.

Free & Icy Girl

Isis was stubborn as a mule and held on to her beliefs in not being in a relationship. Having front row seats to her family’s horrible relationships throughout the years were enough for her not to want to pursue one. In her mind, it was best that way, but in her heart I knew Ice wanted love. Sis did not do commitments and definitely didn’t do them with rappers. The fact that Free was a retired rapper or not didn’t stop Isis from changing her mind. But one night had Isis coming back for more. She was trying to keep their situationship exactly what it was-a situation. Then here comes Freedom. The man exuded BDE out the gate, okay! I loved Free! Dominate and determine to melt Icy Girl’s heart. And slowly but surely, he did just that. I loved the strong connection between them. To Free, she was worth fighting for. But soon, sis started to get on my nerves. I stay screaming so loud at these women in these books!

I listened to the audio version and I loved it. Wesleigh and Emmanuel killed it, as usual. Isis gave Free a run for his money and I get it, but she coulda had his heart so much earlier. Free is that man! He had me, and Isis, hooked from the moment he stepped into the shop. I loved that for her that she got to find someone who broke down her walls, all the walls lol. I liked how they both got to be vulnerable and be able each other’s safe space. And the last chapter and the epilogue…my heart is happy ❤️❤️❤️
