which i highly recommend because tower of dawn is alittle slow

, so this is for both "Empire of Storms" and "tower of dawn".  A great story that ends on a cliff hanger

Again: Did a Tandem read so some of this might be from "Empire of Storms" or "tower of dawn". A woman has a stillborn birth, and for the "failure" of that she is branded and left for dead. Another woman is whipped and imprisoned inside a box.

The ONLY reason I did not give this book a 5 star rating is because the majority of the book was very slow. Of course in Sarah J Maas fashion, the last 100 pages were INSANE!!! I was literally talking out loud to myself because I was in such disbelief. There was NO WAY I could have predicted what happened in the end. I have to read the last part of Tower of Dawn in order to finish the tandem read, but WOW. What another great installment in the Throne of Glass series. All I can say is screw Lorcan and Maeve!!! Aelin is the strongest character I have EVER known in any series, and that is an understatement. I cannot even imagine what SJM has in store for the last bit of TOD and Kingdom of Ash!!!!! WOW!!!!

hands down my favorite book of the series. this book was fantastic, full of action and with a big set of characters all somehow connected to each other.

the whole second part of this book was just… shocking. Aelin burning 500 iliken, Elide Fenrys Gaveiel and Manon (+ the thirteen) allying with Aelin, all the other allies Aelin summoned and that all showed up, the many reveals about what’s has to happen in this war and how it has to happen just leave me with so many questions i cannot wait to have the answer to.

 
Kingdom of Ash is gonna be real epic.
