I really liked Roades, life is tough as the youngest brother but his dedication to those he loves is strong so when Carissa calls but the call drops before he can find out why she called he is on his way to her. Carissa doesn't know why she called Roades she hasn't seen or heard from him after he left with his parents when they found out they were going to elope, but she needs him and hopes he can help. Now Roades needs to find Carissa's brother and put a stop to his tyrannic ways that are causing so much harm to their town. I really enjoyed this read although for me it didn't have quiet the gutsy story of the other books and I felt the way Roades pretty much won every encounter or fight a bit ho hum.

I am just loving this series this is the fourth book in the series and they just keep getting better and better. It had a great storyline full of action and suspense. Roades and Carissa were in love years before but before they could marry things went south but he has never stopped loving her so when she calls needing help he goes to help her. This was a really good book and held my interest all the way through. I would recommend this series

Roades and Carissa's story pulls you in from the beginning and holds you to the very last page. This Knight brother's book is all about second chances, not just for Roades and Carissa, but also for Carissa's brother.

You get some background on their teenage relationship, and follow it as it is rekindled in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

This is a fast paced romantic suspense full of steamy scenes, action, and intrigue. An additional edge to this story is added, just in knowing the descriptions of the aftereffects of Hurricane Maria are all too real for so many people. A definite 4.5 stars.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.

I'm really enjoying this series. Roades is suspended and heads to Puerto Rico to help his ex. Gotta love second chances for teen sweethearts. Both adults now without parents standing in their way the chemistry is still there. The hurricane has devastated this country and resources are scarce. The black markets and gangs are causing chaos.
A fast paced. action packed romantic suspense and great characters made for an entertaining read.
