so much miscommunication and took so long to actually get to the plot. but to be completely honest, i go to this author for drama not for shakespeare leveled content. she gives exactly what i expect, and i love her for it. four stars.

Grant and Aspen are made for each other.
Even though they're both stubborn as hell and could've resolved their issues way sooner, I enjoyed this book.

It's just one of those books where you know they're going to end up together and you are just dying to see what's gonna eventually make them give in.

Aspen has been through a lot. She is a resilient character who is ready to do everything to take care of her grandpa. Even if it means sucking up and enduring the torture of her new boss and ex-boyfriend Grant.
Grants is determened to make her pay. Making a bet with Emmet stating that he could make Aspen quit within 3 month he does everything he can think of to make her suffer.

But what happens when those old feelings get the best of them? Read to find out.

I really enjoyed this book. This second chance, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance had me up late! The book takes place in two parts, the first part is them in college and then 14 years later when the FMC becomes his employee. This was a really good book and there was so much that happened. The second part of this book was sad, yet sweet. I really liked the relatable characters and I’m looking forward to reading more of Nadia Lee’s books!

The Ex I'd Love to Hate is the type of book that I simultaneously love and hate. Because this book is set half in the past and half in the future/present its so hard to read at times. In the past you can see how good they are together, but because there is a future section you know something bad is going to happen and it's going to be really bad. The anticipation of how things are going to go bad and when really gives me anxiety but in a good way. And when things end bad it really sets up a very interesting future, because you know both sides of the break up and you just can't see how they're going to be back together.
I really enjoyed reading this book, Nadia Lee wrote such an exciting story that had me up way to late wanting to finish this story. The reason I loved this story so much was the characters. The leads, Grant and Aspen were compelling and I absolutely love their bantering back and forth. I mean from the beginning they were constantly going back and forth with their jabs at one another. And I appreciated that while they both came from very different backgrounds they both made an effort to understand the other in one way or another, particularly Grant understanding Aspen.
