I picked up this book after watching the movie and finding the storyline intriguing. What I didn’t expect was to fall in love with the characters and really enjoy it. I found myself relating to a lot of Auden’s feelings and I loved reading along as she experienced new things and made new friends throughout the summer. It also covered more serious topics which made it more than just surface level. This book is such a sweet read and I’m honestly sad it’s over. I think I’ll be reading another Sarah Dessen book soon!
