This was a fun story. This was a delightful story that was rich in characters and wit. I wish it didn’t end. Perfect book to read during the holidays.

In this novella, Andrew is being pressured to court Esther, a young lady of means, while he finds himself irresistibly drawn to her more vivid cousin, Olivia. Some family drama, angst over previous entanglements, and cute interactions make this a pleasant, quick read.

Olivia is a worthy opponent. I love verbal sparring and always want more! I think there wasn't quite enough power of feelings from either Olivia or Andrew to completely believe the fast timeframe, but it was overall enjoyable. I loved that we got a two for one in watching her cousin and his best friend's relationship develop as well.

Ashtyn Newbold is definitely a go to author for me and I recommend her if you like sweet and clean with a little bit of history thrown in.

I received a complimentary copy for my honest review.

Loved this clean enjoyable romance set in Regency England! This book begins with a masked ball and a case of mistaken identity. With an arranged marriage practically demanded, Lord Whitfield must decide if he will cave to his parents' expectations or if he will marry for love. Enjoyable characters, a fun romance with plenty of witty banter, and a lovely setting at Christmas time. Look forward to reading the next book in the series!
