The twist that I feared hasn’t happened (…yet?? 🙃). A twist I saw coming has, but that wasn’t terrible, it worked. There were some good surprises along the way in this one. I’m eager to finish the series and see if it wraps up the way I expect it will. 😂

This book was SO GOOD! 

I think this might have been Meads best book in the series. It is harrowing and disturbing. You really get to feel Rose's pain in every page. 

I loved the introduction of Sydney, what a dynamic character!! 

Lissa's story was eh. 

SO a POC character is introduced and I do not love the fact that he is pretty much a mob leader. As the book progresses we learn new things about him that make him more endearing but the representation is really lacking.

Again, DIMITRI SHOULD BE IN JAIL (especially after this book).
