By far the best rendition of Pride and Prejudice I've read this year (I don't know how, but I have read three renditions accidentally 🤷🏾♀️).
I really loved the little nods to Joe Wright's cinematic masterpiece and the subtle changes in the plot that lean more into career development. The narrative was super smooth and witty.
Already casting the film mentally: Harry Shum Jr. (or a wider casting of Henry Golding) would be a perfect Mr. Darcy for this. Lucy Lu as an auntie. 😍
Throw Lewis Tan in there as Ray.
