O Come, O Come, Emmanuel: A Liturgy for Daily Worship from Advent to Epiphany by Jonathan Gibson

I read this for the Advent/Christmas season this year. It was a great change from a traditional devotion and the routine of the readings was great. I think it would be best done with others though as some days it felt like a lot just for myself. I like that it went though Epiphany, that was a nice thing to continue on through the new year.

I don't have a ton of experience with liturgies, but I found the rhythmic nature of daily walking through the stories and postures of Christianity enriching, and I found that I missed this time when Epiphany came and the book ended. The passages are thoughtful and pulled from throughout Christian history. The only criticism I have is that those passages could have repeated less in some sections.
Strong recommend.
