War On the West is a nonfiction compilation of political opinions, observations, and keynotes that might offend some people with its view on the war between Left and Right ideology. It touches on issues of Racism, the conflict with China, education, and how ideologies at play actually fuel those issues rather than fighting against them (as intended). While I'm not a political person by any means, I'm always open to hearing other perspectives and seeing events unfold from their point-of-view. There were certain points I agreed with, but others that I think could have been further elaborated on or didn't quite connect for me. Either way, it was an enlightening read for those who can set aside personal feelings and bias to consider the perspectives of others.
Minor: Racism, Slavery, Transphobia, Xenophobia, Islamophobia, and War
It should be noted that this book is likely more for moderates/centrists. You may have trouble reading it if you sit far left of the center as it questions progressive ideology against the weight of history from a global perspective. It's certainly interesting, but not for everyone.
