I really wanted to like this book, but I found it so repetitive (although I'm sure his intent was to highlight potentially dangerous situations it just fell flat). I also really didn't find the interactions with anyone to be overly revealing of any of the presidents that most already didn't know. This book didn't really offer me much new information besides a new insight to the demands a secret service agent faces. It was also tough since he kept referencing the previous books he wrote on the subject for more details. I struggled to finish this book, which is sad as I thought the premise held a lot of potential and was a very easy read for a non-fiction.

Memoir okay book a little boring at times, yet a different history of the presidency.

Interesting to hear historic stories from a personal perspective. As he started to describe an event, I would go ohhh….. I know what is going to happen.
