A very heart-warming read about a scary time in U.S. history. It was lovely to see all the kindness and self-lessness the people of Gander, Newfoundland showed to all the people who could not land in America due to the closure of U.S. airspace. Highly recommend.

Read this for a book club.

Incredibly bad writing, despite content being interested. Weird random collated facts and should have been a magazine article, not a book

Very entertaining and heartwarming recollection of a community coming together in the height of an Earth-shaking tragedy. Sad, happy, amused - I felt it all.
