A beautifully crafted book that feels like a balm in your hand. Blending personal storytelling with affirmation and ancestral witchy wisdom, House of Our Queer models the ways we can expand our understandings of spirituality. āThe spiritual community I need is kind that centers the blessing of queerness, rather than one that celebrates a day or a month of being gay.ā The intention of this book can be seen in its font, its pink colored pages, and in the blessings it imparts.

I liked this book - itās written from a different perspective than I have read before, and having grown up queer and religious,Ā a lot of the stories and ideas resonated with me. With that said, I felt like the authorās ideas and convictions werenāt always 100% thought through and argued well.Ā
This book has given me a lot to think about when it comes to my own spirituality and Iām glad I read it!
