Really neat look at the life and art of Dorothy and Otis Shepard. These two had very different ways of tackling design projects and they worked so well together.

The designers' friendship with P.K. Wrigley made for an amazing series of opportunities, from advertising for Wrigley's chewing gum, designing for branding and tourism experience on island of Catalina, to designing assets like season guides and even player uniforms for the Chicago Cubs.

As far as design biographies go, this is not a boring one, perhaps due to Dorothy's sharp scrapbooking skills. This book made me want to try airbrushing.
