I love Neil Gaiman, he's one of my favourite authors. It's fascinating that a white man would choose to write about an African God, but I appreciate the effort all the same.

This was a nice mellow book to listen to as I cleaned and did my daily commute. It's not too exciting, but that's what I loved about it. The stakes were never too high but the jokes were funny.

This was a lot of fun—not nearly so good as American Gods, but a lovely, fast-paced story. Hooray for good books discovered in the online stacks of your local library!

This was a fun read and takes a more light-hearted tone from American Gods. The conflicts and resolution feels very much like a fairy tale, like some other books by the author, but never seems to stray into YA or fairy-tale tropes.

This was probably my least favorite of Neil Gaiman's work. It's still Gaiman so it's still worth reading but I doubt I will reread it

I think Neil Gaiman is brilliant and I loved the characters and set up but found the plot lacked the substance and direction of his other books.

Please note; my star rating on any book is completely subjective and limited to the label for each star.

1 Star I didn’t like it
2 Stars It was okay
3 Stars I liked it
4 Stars I really liked it
5 Stars It was amazing!

If I do actually have something to say about a book other than what my enjoyment factor was, I will write a review and share my thoughts. If I say I didn’t like a book but there wasn’t anything about it that I thought needed to be shared, then that’s it, I just didn’t like it.

If you’d like to start a discussion about a book or you’d like an actual review, ask any question you like and I’ll be happy to try and comply/respond.

Additional note; I do not feed the trolls. If you don’t have something constructive to say, or if you can’t say it in a respectful way, you won’t get a response from me. Ever.
