The description of the book is a bit misleading to what the book actually is about. I see this as more of a literary fiction thay makes one reflect and question society. While this is not a setting that is realistic, calling this a sci-fi book or a mystery does this a disservice because readers have certain expectations that I found to be frustrating as I read. It's a good book, but very slow and it was a bit depressing.
