In general, what struck me in this book beside all the feels was how many wonderful people Danica has by her side now, which is a contrast to how things were in book one. I'm proud of how much she's grown. Overall, I very much enjoyed this book, and absolutely cannot wait until April for the next one after that ending! 5 stars. It deserves every one of them.

This book…. Man, like the previous books this book was insane.
It pretty much picked up right after the shocking events of the last book and it doesn't slow down.
We get once again nonstop action, politics between all the factions, humor , heartbreak and one bombshell after the next.
While I still very much loved this book, it’s my least favorite in the series so far.Though not sure if it is because I binged all her books so fast and furious or if it was because there was so much going on in this book.
There is always a lot going on in all books but this one felt even more so. There were times I felt overwhelmed .
Overall I still loved it, Everyone and everything about it. Of course we get a wicked cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book.
Though I think I will cleanse my palette a little before that with a different book and genre.
I give it 4 full stars and I still very much recommend this author and series :)

Initially, I was rooting for Danica and wanted to smack the rude out of Samael. However the more you read the more you realize why he is the way he is. The more he, and all the characters grow. That is by far my fave part of the entire series. The individual growth and the growth of relationships between characters. Not Just the two MCs but also their relationships with friends and family. the development of the world, careers, the complexity of the witching grading system from white to black, and all the grey in between. It was terrific. Hard to believe the writer is fairly new.
