I was already a fan of Mika Yamamori’s works like “Daytime Shooting Star” and “Tsubaki-Chou Lonely Planet” and had put off reading this one because I wasn’t a huge fan of the premise. Two side characters were introduced in Daytime Shooting Star with a similar vibe of the androgynous girl dating the outgoing guy and I didn’t get too attached to those characters. But this series is so strong! I think this is an all time favorite in the running up there with “A Sign of Affection.” Excuse me while I preorder every future volume possible.

Yoi is a first-year high school student who has handsome features and a deep voice, so she has been nicknamed "The Prince" and treated like a school Prince by her peers - she is praised often for her looks and treated very delicately. Often, her fellows forget that she is a girl. Then, she meets Kohaku Ichimura, another Prince who is fascinated and enthralled by Yoi. Kohaku is the first boy to show any romantic interest in Yoi, and she is really not sure how to handle it! Is he kidding? Is he making fun? Is he actually interested?

I loved this story, I found it very relatable and the two of them have an absurd chemistry. Excited to read the next volumes!!!
