My first thought when I finished the book: Nooooooooo!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it left me with this cliffhanger! From the first sentence of this book I was hooked, I loved The House on Blackstone Moor so when I was asked to read this book I just had to say yes. I’m glad I did because this book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Meeting all the historical figures I loved and reading about them just kept me turning the pages of this book. As always the writing style was great, the story moved along quickly but you got the time to get to know the characters and to either fall in love with them or hate them.
An amazing book, but I hated the ending because it leaves me craving the next book!
