This story suffered from lack of focus. There was a promising start to the romance of the two main characters, but after the insta-attraction and subsequent hook-up the direction shifted and the story changed into aimless meandering. Nothing exciting occured, the romance was put on ice for no real reason. Another plotline was introduced and the 4 foster girls (the promising bratt pack) mentioned in great detail at the beginning of the story were only introduced at the tail end. The whole thing left me unsatisfied.
