This book has my favorite sex of the series. I also really enjoy their dynamic and the larger family dynamic. It’s bittersweet as the family changes, and that’s one of my sore spots, so it was somewhat emotional. She’s in charge everywhere…except for the bedroom.

The audiobook readers are great.

Catnip: you can have a better orgasm than that.

Warning for dead parents, suicidal brother, military peril, and very casually sprung rape of a young girl by her father. It’s also very body-centric; she’s so tiny he throws her around. Disordered eating, alcohol abuse.

Oh my, this book was a fucking ride and I think it's my favorite in the series?? It's complicated because all the previous books are great.
The Cornerstone is Shannon's book and I was really looking forward to it because she is one of my favorite characters. In general, it was beautiful, super emotional, heartbreaking in some parts, but very sweet in others and really fucking hot. It was a roller coaster of emotions to be in Shannon's shoes.
And when Will calls her Peanut, perfection.
