The way the style is trying to represent an ancient poetry makes it a bit of a slog to read, but Eurydicius is perfect. And through Orphia's journey we learn the lies men tell to demonize women and control the narrative, women's lives. I love the message the book sends that what we cannot imagine cannot come into being - imagining a world in which peace and love are strengths. It's a a bit heavy-handed in the messaging but maybe necessary in the context of the forces surrounding them.
Graphic: Suicide and Violence
Moderate: Gaslighting, Misogyny, Death, Lesbophobia, Genocide, and Homophobia
Minor: Rape
