A very fast listen, packed with information and feeling. Porizkova is an excellent narrator, full of emotion, which make sit harder when she talks with love of her late husband who was clearly emotionally and financially abusive. Her story, honesty and growth is admirable but her marriage remains an enigma at the heart of this.

While I found some of the insights in this memoir intriguing, I couldn't help but feel like it lacked depth in certain areas. Porizkova provides an honest and often witty portrayal of her life, from her upbringing in Communist Czechoslovakia to her successful modeling career and her tumultuous relationship with late rocker Ric Ocasek. However, there were moments where the narrative felt disjointed and rushed. I also felt like there could have been more exploration of the impact of the fashion industry on Porizkova's life, as it seemed to play such a significant role. Despite these criticisms, I appreciated Porizkova's willingness to speak candidly about the aging process and her struggles with anxiety and body image. Overall, No Filter is a worthwhile read, but it left me wanting more.
