Well then. I liked this book. It was pretty fun and fast read. The men are slightly psychotic and disturbed and abusive though. The girl is naive and easily played. We will see how things progress and grow. I’m enjoying it.

So everything was okay up until the point where they betted on her
Spoilernon-existent virginity.
Dumb ass bitch and the way she was all willy nilly acting like she was five. Who takes a cigarette and a screwdriver from a stranger without asking? Tinsley is always up in Claire's business worrying about who and what she is doing? Maybe if her mother did rich men instead of drugs she wouldn't have to be on a first-name basis with the cockroaches in her apartment.

From the beginning I wanted to know more. Definitely hard to put down and definitely want more. Very well written and recommend

I need to stop leaping onto book with endless amount of 5 star reviews because this was an instant fail. From what I had read from chapters 1-6 before dropping it like it was hot, this mess of a novel left me cringing with the unlikable characters, plot and writing style. Needless to say, I’m not the right reader for this type of reverse harem (never really enjoyed that trope anyways) high school romance (can’t you even call it that?) unrealistic drama filled novel.

Well Jaxson Kidman again proves my theory that he’s Willy Wonka, cements it even. He takes the poor girl Tinsley (see the similarities let look at the chocolate factory – similar to Charlie hmm hmm).
Then her life changes – kinda like Charlie just saying.
Well, she sees something she shouldn’t - surely you don’t need a refresher about the things Charlie saw and didn’t say right?
Let’s look at the Rulz now I mean that could be any number of those other kids that won a golden ticket if you look at it. Just like Charlie, Tinsley is smart, and she just wants to figure everything out. But Tinsley sure does get one wild ride through the chocolate river. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed the book. Happy to see Ti start to figure some things out by the end. Really not loving any of the boys yet. On to Book 2.

What the hell is going on with this book? Classic love triangle (square?) bully-esq set up, I was looking forward to sitting down and enjoying me some love/hate push and pull (pun intended) between the FMC and her men

If halves were a thing, I'd give this 3.5 stars. The story was good and intriguing, I definitely felt sucked in and wanted to know what was going on. My major issue with the book was italics. Might not bother someone else, so I want to make it very clear that I would have given this book 4 stars if not for the overuse of italics within the story. The Rulz was always italicized. The ditch was always italicized. Both terms that were used quite often in the story. But on top of that, whole sentences and random other words and phrases were italicized and I couldn't get a grasp on why. The only other issue I really had with the book was wanting to know WHY they were called The Rulz, however, there are more books in this series so it's possible that will be explained eventually. I did like the way Ti questioned so much. She just didn't take everything at face value like some YA/NA characters do. She wanted to know why Claire hadn't stepped in before, she wanted to know why she was getting all of that attention. In spite of the things that bothered me about the book, I do want to know how the rest goes so I will likely read the rest of the series.
