There was so much action in this book it is hard not to post spoilers. 

The God Andvari forced Montana to jump from the top of the Statue Of Liberty. Which forced Callie to allow Eric to turn Montana into a vampire in order to save her life. 

Andvari and the Goddess Idun are hateful and playing their own game using the vampires and slayers as pawns. 

Now we have Valentina entering the battles as her desire to rule over all takes over. 

The series really heated up with this book and I can’t wait to dive into book 6 Ravaged Souls.
