WOW! Stolen Hearts by M. O'Keefe was a whirlwind. The twists and turns were insane. Stolen Hearts was a torturous, slow-burn book. The love-hate between Ronan and Poppy was a bit insane, but kind of addictive, if I’m being honest. The fact that Ronan was Irish made me like this book even more – I’m kind of a sucker for an Irish hero, or rather a villain. One of the things that I wished had happened in Stolen Hearts was delving into the horrible things that Poppy had gone through, it’s just sort of mentioned in the form of a memory, and then everyone moves on.

That ending, though… OMG, that was just ridiculous, lol. Cliffhangers aren’t usually a big deal for me, but this one was just insane. You’ll probably be angry, fair-warning.

Poppy agreed to marry senator to take care of her sister, Zilla. Zilla has this vigilante justice attitude. She also has mental illness that causes her to rage. Soon secrets start coming to light, and Poppy doesn’t understand any of it.

This book kept me guessing. I have so many questions. This is my first book by M. O’Keefe, and her writing pulled at me. The connection between Ronan and Poppy was electric. I went in knowing the book was a cliffhanger. That I would be waiting to read the next part, but WOW, what a ending. I can’t wait to read more about Ronan and Poppy.

Thank you to M. O’Keefe, Serena and the Dangerous Press team for the advance reader copy of Stolen Hearts, the first book in the Hearts Trilogy. This story releases on January 12th!

A mafia fixer and a woman that belongs to another man. What a juicy combo, for Dangerous Press’ first release of 2021.

Stolen Hearts is addicting and captivating from the very start. The moment I started this one I couldn’t put it down. I was completed sucked into the story. It was full of secrets, twists and turns and plenty of suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat.

I felt for Poppy. She had lost so much and was forced into a marriage that she was completely unhappy in and a marriage that changed who she is as a person. Ronan is a man of mystery. He works for the Constantines and happens to always be keeping an eye out for Poppy. He comes across as cruel but there are little glimpses of something more to him. There are loads of chemistry between Poppy and Ronan from the very first moment they met and only continues to grow. He makes Poppy feel alive and that isn’t something she had felt in the past.

The story is told only from Poppy’s POV and there are certain parts I wish we got to see Ronan’s POV, however, I don’t think that it had any negative effect on the story itself. This does also end on a cliffhanger so be prepared!

If you’re looking for a dark romance that is full of suspense, twists and turns and loads of secrets this is one to check out.

- I love the meeting
- why do I feel like Ronan has something to do with her sister not killing and her husband dead
- what a mystery man. I’m loving Roman
- I hate reading about tingly feelings for random guys by the FMC. I hope nothing else comes out of that. And Theo is a bad guy
- I think zilla is bad news too
- maybe getting her married to the senator and then killing him was the plan so that she could have someone as the educative director that she could control
- well welll welll. Atleast I was right about Theo. But WTF about him and Ronan knowing each other.
- can’t wait to read the next one. Can’t believe I waited a year to read it

I need more!

This one was unexpected. Ronan and Poppy aren’t at all what you expect of them. This world that they are in is incredible! I love how it was dark and unpredictable. The steamy bits were whew! Steeeeeaaaamy!!!

It did end on a cliffhanger but don’t let that deter you. I’m not usually one for cliffhangers but I can’t get enough of the books in this world!

I had no prior information about this story except that it will end in a cliffhanger, I’m ok with cliffhangers but I know some aren’t so be aware. That being said, I was so sucked into the story even though I was aware I was still caught by surprise!

M. O’Keefe has written a story with so much.. well everything! You have deeply flawed characters, you have suspense and drama, and you have some pretty steamy parts as well. There is just so much I could say about this story, but I’m not going to, you need to go in blind, I think it makes for a better experience.

I simply cannot wait for the next story to see what happens next!

This is Poppy and Ronan's story, it's the first of the series so be aware that there is a cliffy. Their story is full of angst and steamy scenes. Mental health is part of the story, among other things that might be triggering to some readers. I loved Ronan, that Irish mysterious man who got to me hard. Can't wait to see what comes next. I'm so intrigued by the story which is fast-paced so it kept me reading it all in one go.

WTH..... REALLY??? OH-MY-GAWD..... I NEED BOOK 2 NOW!!!!

This is my first book by M. O'Keefe but definitely not the last. This review will be short and sweet because I don't want to give anything away. This book had me on the edge of my seat, there was so much push and pull I wanted to scream. It was an addicting, slow burn that had me holding my breath one minute and heart racing the next but I just couldn't get enough......it was absolute torcher!!! That ending had my heart in my throat and a WTF coming out of my mouth. All I can say is that I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next book!
