That was really different from Naruto but it has something so special with the idea of a little samurai in an amazing future world. I liked it. I hope they are working on its anime.

Good starter manga, It’s not great but its good. I especially loved the chapter where nanashi was introduced, I hope she is in the next mangas. I really loved how she was inspired by hachimaru and I really ship them

The creator of Naruto does Star Wars. Very strong world building and aesthetic. The characters are effective, but it's familiar ground. I also don't like how the main character's glasses sit on his head unless he's in "battle mode." It doesn't make sense, they were his most relatable feature and they knew that b/c he's has the glasses in all the promos.

It does look so cool, like the soul lightsabers and animal companions.

When I saw the author of this I knew I had to request an ARC! This is the creator of one of my all time favorite manga and anime Naruto! I have watched since I was a kid and if you enjoyed the manga or anime of Naruto than you already know how detailed Kishimoto’s world building is. This is a great beginning to a new series that will definitely be a favorite. I could not put it down and I bet you wont either. Instead of ninjas we are following samurai and holy moly this is awesome beginning. This is into the future almost like Alita Battle angel vibe with the cyborg samurai characters. I recommend this if you love a great story, manga, Naruto, or all of the above.

This is a universe where samurai are legends of science fiction. Samurai are cyborgs with spine-like keys that give them their powers. There are also key holders that can be controlled with bone handles of the samurai's sword. Then there are lock balls. Then there are video games, bad guys bent on stealing lock balls so they can become samurai and princesses. There's a talking cat from the order of the dog. There's a cybernetic dog who can only meow. And there's a person so isolated, they can't decide what gender they are.

If all this seems too much, it is! Rather than give the reader some of these details in a steady stream over several volumes, we have a jam-packed confusing narration to start off with that only makes sense after the entire volume is over. Mix in some transphobic comments, a hero who verbally abuses his father despite all that man has done for him, and confusing action sequences. It all makes this a title you should possibly skip, even though it is by the famed creator of Naruto.

Interesting but weird. Not into the art style with the lack of shading. Not for me.

I thought this was a unique idea and the start was promising and the characters very cute. I loved the cyber feel of it all.
