Considered as one of the best self-improvement book, I was looking forward to read.

Unfortunately, I was mostly disappointed with it. The book felt outdated and had a lot of superstitions.

It's main idea is that anything is possible with only one thing: Desire.
One can agree that while desire is important, there are so many other factors that can contribute or not to one's success: timing, external events, luck, where you were raised, where you studied, who you met, your capabilities & limitations... It just sounds very unrealistic to put everything on desire.

I recommend reading other books for a more realistic and healthy approach to self-improvement.

This book is a great read for anyone seeking a sense of purpose or looking to gain a deeper understanding of their own desires. It offers valuable insights that will shift your mindset, particularly when it comes to how you approach finance and chart your path forward in life.

As the progenitor of the self-help book epidemic, you can expect all the tired and unhelpful grandstanding that we’ve come to expect from a genre that’s designed to make the rich richer.
