The story and art style were both so cute! The two characters have great chemistry and I loved the primary color scheme. Some of the page flow and time passage was a bit unclear, only reason it didn't get a full 5 stars.

Like other reviewers have said, the passing of time was not very clear and it took me a while to wrap my head around it and figure out what was happening when. Diggii doesn't clearly state what portion of the story takes place in what time and that gets a little confusing.
However, I found the story and the characters so utterly charming, that I still absolutely loved it.

I was so excited when Mami was announced. I love Diigii's style and wanted to see how it'll translate to comics. Unfortunately, this book just isn't very good. The concept is cool but the story is too disjointed. While Diigii is obviously passionate about Filipino food, the food intermissions feel gratuitous when the book is only 63 pages only. The layouts are also a problem. The panels are hard to read and don't flow well. It takes me a while to figure out which character is speaking and what they're doing.
