This was my first Max Brooks (waiting to get a copy of WWZ) and I was surprised. I really liked the found footage-esque journal entries. It took me a lot longer to get through the first half of the book than the second half. I would recommend it if you have any interest in cryptozoology.

It was fun to read a sasquatch horror novel for once. This book surprised me too. I expected it to just be a full slasher type of book with not much character development or story but I was wrong! There's a good group of characters that you learn about and even the sasquatches had some story to them. It was really well done and a quick read if you are looking for something a bit more unique in the horror genre.
