Holy heck it's steamy. Who knew that I would fall in love with a cowboy romance, and I need more immediately! This was almost a DNF for me, only because it took close to 200 pages to get to the action but once it does, it doesn't stop! Elsie Silver does an amazing job at creating a tasteful workplace romance.Â
The plot centers around Rhett Eaton professional bull rider with a bad reputation, in hopes of clearing his name (and brand deals) his agent assigns him a babysitter for the last leg of his tour, Summer Hamilton. The only issue? Summer just so happens to be the daughter of his agent. I loved the banter between the two main characters, Summer was so sassy and really stood her ground when it came to Rhett. Immediately the connection and banter between the two of them was spot on, not only that, Summer fit right in with the Eaton family.Â
What really brought it all together, was the fact that it wasn't just some fluffy romance. The fear of Rhett not knowing if he would be able to continue his legacy with his injuries really got to me, and hearing about Summer's history broke my heart. These two characters really needed each other, and it seems they both came into each others lives at the right moment.
