This was a cute, spooky but not very scary, ghost haunting/romance. Most of the “spooky” stuff was just the mfc jumping or screaming at random stuff and talking about how she scared easily, but it worked for spooky vibes.
The third act not-breakup/conflict was really contrived, and pointlessly concealed. And some of the dialogue toward the end made no sense, like they were answering questions that had been edited out.
Still a good, light read if you want happy, haunted, Halloween vibes.
