That towel scene was everything!! I'm always amazed at how shoujo mangakas can still make my heart flutter after reading so many romance series, they really are magical. ♡♡♡

I really like how my expectations for the 1v1 basketball bet were subverted, it's always nice to see the heroine take control of a situation, it was refreshing.

I hope pretty soon we can get some more development and information about Aya. He's one of the main love interests, and I feel like I barely know him. So far I do prefer Towa, but that's probably just because I know him so well (and he's really adorable).

Can't wait to see how the basketball game goes in the next volume!! (Words that have never been spoken by me before lmao)

I really don't like Aya. He's easily the worst part of this series. And the rest of the volume was that interesting either, mostly because all that happened was a love rival's been introduced and I couldn't be bothered to care. But yeah, this series is pretty boring and I'm rapidly losing interest.

"Waiting for Spring, Vol. 3" continues to follow Mitsuki and the four basketball players. Mitsuki and Towa are growing closer and closer every day, but that suddenly comes into jeopardy when Aya throws his hat into the ring for Mitsuki's attention. The team is training harder than ever to be the best so that they will be able to beat none other than Aya's team.
I am still really rooting for Mitsuki and Towa, and I love how awkward and just how overall high school their actions to one another are. Towa seems like such a great guy, but he is incredibly shy, and I think he has feeling for Mitsuki too, but basketball players are not allowed to date. Regardless, I love watching their friendship blossom.
I feel like the creator of this manga is trying to make Aya to be a villain. I do not think Aya is a bad person, but he is definitely coming across strong in his desire to be with Mitsuki, and he is really disregarding her feelings. I would hope someone who is a best friend, former or present, would treat a person better.
There was a scene where Towa and Aya decide to play a game of basketball for Mitsuki's attention, but do not ask her what she wants. Then before they can play, she calls them out and says that they are not listening to her and her feelings. Towa seems upset that he hurt her, but I feel like this only fuels Aya's fire more. I did love that Mitsuki stood up for herself.

I have every intention of picking up volume four immediately!

maybe 2.5 stars again? idk this just feels a little drawn out?? as a slow-burn girlie it takes a lot for me to say that but i feel like this didn’t need to be 14 volumes. i appreciate the development of the world & side characters, but we are 3 volumes in & very little has happened between the main couple. ill probably continue in this series but i don’t know if its going to become a new fav

Officially invested in this little slice of life shojo. Plenty of sweet little moments, found family, unlikely friendships, rivalry & a side of basketball.
