A super fast-paced read! The twists and turns at every corner had my jaw hanging until the very last page.

I loved this book. It’s incredibly straightforward which makes the multiple twists hard to see coming. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it was a little too straightforward and some of the twists were pretty easy to guess, but it is an incredibly dark story and a hard book to put down.

Unoriginal, predictable, boring, not well written.

Read in one day. Good premise and kept me interested. Was unsure about how the book was split up.

Honestly, this is the first McFadden book that I thoroughly enjoyed! I didn’t understand the hype of the author after the last couple I’ve read from her, but The Housemaid is pretty fantastic. I’m excited to read the sequel.

One of my favorite thrillers I've ever read. The amount of detail that went into the plot line, and the way it wrapped up was just insane. Will be recommending this book to everyone who loves a thriller! Looking forward to reading more of Freida.
