Okay I am definitely someone who admits when she's wrong. I started out judging this book harder than it deserved. I was side eyeing most of the plot points wondering why the author was trying to be so lazy and apparent with everything happening. Like it was just being shoved into my face! Where was the mystery?!

It was there the whole time I just jumped the gun instead of enjoying the ride. But man that last third of the book really threw me for a loop and changed my whole perspective. Fantastic, I haven't felt genuine suspense from a mystery book for a long time.

Wow. What a great introduction to Frieda McFadden. I loved all the twists and turns right up to the end. I had an inkling about one factor but most of the book was a surprise. A fast and easy read that kept me enthralled the entire time.
