I’ve struggled connecting to characters recently. This, I felt this. Their love was epic. Started out more him, but she felt it. She was just confused. There was no way she was going to resist him. He handled her feels, doubts, concerns beautifully. This was good, so so good.

Great book but sadly ended on a cliffhanger which made me have to immediately read the next one lucky me I could acquire it quickly or it would have made me go crazy.

This duet was the first I've read from this author and I enjoyed both books.
This story kept me engaged from page one! It was dark, with plenty of action, some twists and a was just an intriguing read.
Nikolai was a little twisted, and very possessive, while Sofia was just trying to deny any feelings, but you just knew these two were meant to be. They had this crazy, intense attraction, and I loved that Nikolai could see Sofia for who she really was.
I liked the flashbacks to their interactions years before. They filled in the blanks and gave more depth to the relationship between the two.
An exciting and enjoyable read!

I loved this book and this couple! Nikolai was unhinged and obsessed with Sofia and their chemistry was fire. The cliffhanger though was killer and I’m so glad I had the second book available to start asap!
