This book covers all of the things that politicians say, and describe why most of the time they are not speaking consistently. The biggest problem with this book is that it consists of current political figures, so it will probably not quite be as good in a few years. Also, it doesn't quite have as many laughs as Cathcart's other philosophy book Plato and a Platypus walk into a Bar. But I did enjoy this book more.

Amusing while it lasted. A few of the concepts went way over my head, especially when they tried to run circles around a certain logical fallacy. I was much better when I looked at every premise as p's and q's. At least then, I can also utilize the lovely squiggle to indicate 'not p' or 'not q'.

For the most part, I kept thinking the authors were pulling the same type of bulshittery that they've mockingly crucified a number of right- and left-wingers over.

But that's just me.

I really enjoyed this book. It's possible because I haven't read many books of this type that I liked it so much, but I thought it excellently combined a lot of educational material with humor. And while the authors write from a liberal perspective, they skewer politicians of all stripes.
