The plot of this book is read-at-the-red-light enthralling. I started it, expecting to read it throughout the week, but couldn't put it down and finished it in a day. Some of the book seemed a little unrealistic, but I chose to ignore this for the incredible adventure the book takes you on. There are some issues with flatness of secondary characters and definite use of stereotypes, but I do think this is still worth the read. If you like mysteries and YA, this book is a great combination of the two!

This was such a fun and quick read! I need to delve into stand alone thrillers. It had a very interesting premise that was executed nicely through the author’s exciting prose. Dead Girls Society is definitely a film you’d watch on Netflix and fall in love with the story, its unique characters and their great dynamic, and the small town thriller vibes. Lastly, this has incredible rep about Cystic Fibrosis and doesn’t define our main character, Hope Callahan. I really loved the flow of this story and its cliffhanger ending that will make you ask for more.

I have wanted to read this book for so long.

The Cover... It is beyond gorgeous. It is going to look great on my finished book shelf.

The Plot... So Intriguing.

Secrets, Lies, Betrayals....this was just the book I needed.

I found this novel to be pretty fast paced, lots of dare action and trying to figure out who is a part of The Society.

I thought the reasoning behind the dares was believable. I enjoy that Michelle puts her medical background to use and I enjoyed that the main character had a condition that not most people are probably aware of (although I'm writing this review and reading this novel after 5 Feet Apart came out and was a huge success, so most people are probably aware of CF by now).

I enjoy that Michelle puts all of her heart into her novels and always has crazy twists and turns. You never know who to trust.

That Ending...
Totally worth the read, buy it, own it..breath in the pages. This novel is totally worth it.

Hope has cystic fibrosis, which has become the main focus of both her and her mother's life. However, the focus on this terminal illness makes Hope feel like she is dead already. She is given the chance to change that when a mysterious invitation to a dare challenge gives her the opportunity to take control of her life again. When Hope shows up, she finds that several other girls from her school have been invited too. They are in a contest for a money prize, to see who can successfully complete all of the dares. As the game progresses, the dares become more dangerous and Hope probes to find out who the mystery people are behind this game.

This was an action-packed edge of your seat novel. I typically do not enjoy this type of book, but I had a great time with this one. The ending was a bit expected and traditional, but the journey there was worth it.

I read this because I love to see disabled/illness representation in books, especially mysteries, and thrillers. I think the rep was done really well but I didn't love the actual story. The twist was interesting but the pacing leading up to that felt a bit off. Also, I just liked the friendship way better then the relationship, not every girl has to end up with her best friend.
