I have no recollection of where I found out about this book, but I enjoyed it. Three interwoven stories: a senator's wife in the 1970s, a modern day stay-at-home mother, and the story of Esther from ancient Persia. In addition to the compelling stories of these three women and their relationships (familial, platonic, and romantic), I learned a lot about the Jewish celebration of Purim and the story of Esther. Not amazing, but worth the read (or listen in my case).
