A worthy conclusion to the trilogy!
This book (and the two before) aren't really bringing too much new to vampire fantasy, but if you like broody and overprotective ("alpha-hole") MMCs, bonded lovers, and assorted tropes then this is for you.

The book has nice pacing and entertaining twists, and I enjoyed reading it. I don't think it's super outstanding, but it delivered what I expected, and I read the trilogy in one go.

Like the previous books, the acknowledgement of the age difference adds some cringe... at one point Lochlan talks about how he found Kenna when she was three years old and already felt a special connection... EW. Strong Twilight/werewolf bonding with baby vibes. We're not here for the grooming.

I'm also not a fan of the epilogue ("4 years later") where Kenna inevitably - and against ALL the odds - is pregnant. She is 18 when they have their bonding ceremony, and 22 when she has a child? He is... 150. Just.. somebody write a vampire romance that has actual grown ups? I beg of you.
