Holy hell. After reading hush hush and absolutely loving the writing in that book I was even more excited to read this series seeing as it is so hyped.

Trust me, it did not disappoint at all!! I don’t want to say too much about this book but if you haven’t read it then read it!

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this being so heavily gymnastics based but I am actually obsessed with it. I find myself wanting to see what she will do next and I want her to do an amazing trick and shove it up Kova’s sexy face. He is a tough coach but it is what will give perfection.

Absolutely obsessed.

if the things that attract you most to a person are their “youthfulness” (for lack of a better term) you might be an ephebophile.

this book is polarising for a lot of valid reasons. but there are some important points to make

1. This books portrays abuse of a minor by romanticising the emotional abuse for the titillation of the reader
2. If it look like an ephebophile, talks like an ephebophile, and sleeps w teenagers— it’s an ephebophile
3. This isn’t a book everyone

Everything about this booked pissed me off but I also couldn’t stop reading it’s a love hate relationship so far

This isn’t a dark romance or morally grey characters so it made the age gap a lot harder to get behind I found vs when reading a dark romance but surprisingly most of my issues came from the characters themselves and not the age gap

What I didn’t like:
1. KOVA that man is a menace idk how any woman could fall in love with him let alone two?! Honestly he should be charged with hate crime because I’m convinced he just hates women

2. Gymnastics why was 50% of this book just teaching me how to do gymnastics routines

This book was so messy, but really good. The book is not for everyone, but remember it’s fiction and not real life y’all.

I was so interested to see what was going to happen next throughout this book. I wouldn’t call Kova a hero, I didn’t like him the majority of the book honestly. But I’m sure through the rest of the series I will change my opinion on that. The ending was left on a major cliffhanger so I have just started book two of the series.

The author did very well on describing the different things that go into gymnastics and the lifestyle gymnasts live. The spice scenes were really spicy, although they were not the spiciest I’ve read. This book was so long and I felt like some of the dialogue was repetitive so it could’ve been reduced a little bit which is why I’m giving it a 3.5.
