The characters in this book reminded me way too much of the characters in The Girl on the Train. This story is basically a better written version and missing the murder mystery. The characters, damn they were scary crazy....
And George? They live together? Where was he during Figs POV then? And how does she have all of this money? From her divorce? There are certainly other questions, maybe not super important but still annoying.

Wow

I couldn't be happier to read something that feels fresh and new. So different from the same old stuff. Writing is excellent and real. The way real people talk!

I really enjoyed the majority of the book. I'm super bummed about the ending. She did such a good job of building up something crazy to happen... I was waiting for some shit to go down. I think the end could've been a wtf moment. Other than that pretty good book.

When a writer loves both a psychopath and a sociopath, then things are going to get messy . I would have given 3 stars but the way the ĺast 100 page turned out i had to give 4 stars . The characters were so fucked up . Not just fig , but darius . Wow . I am not into thrillers much but this turned out worth it . Loved it . I am dissapointed that its over but happy that i am out of this fucking shit .

A complete and utter thrill ride, I enjoyed every minute. Loved the narration change and all the twists along way. Will definitely read more by Taryn Fisher.

This book!! I don't even know where to begin. Once I thought I had things figured out, curveballs were thrown and I am still just speechless over what I read. I loved this book and this author. I love the intelligence, and the flow of the writing and the beauty that shines through even in such a twisted story.

Fig. Fig. Fig. What do you even say about her? This character is so disturbing. The way she justifies everything that she does and her beliefs in her behavior are beyond scary. You get the feeling from the first page. You are sucked into Fig's mind and honestly uncomfortable to be there. Tarryn writes this character so absolutely brilliantly. I flinch thinking about her.

Darius. Darius was honestly a surprise to me and I don't want to say to much in that regard, but his character was definitely interesting and I liked reading his pov.

Jolene: I loved her. I felt bad for her, but also wanted to just shake her at times. I was frustrated with some of the choices she made and things she overlooked. However, that did change throughout the story and I am so glad it did. I actually loved a lot of her interactions with Mercy, her daughter.

The storyline was amazing, the writing brilliant, the characters well-developed. There is nothing I have to say more than I loved everything about this story. I don't know what that says about me, but I will definitely be rereading it.

Woah. This book isn’t what I thought it was going to be and I was kinda scared to read it. It was awesome. Everyone has their own truths. You don’t know which one to believe, who to side with. This book is gonna stay with me for quite some time.
