Beautiful book, wonderful art and an incredible story. It was dark and twisty and fun and I enjoyed every part of this book.

I was unfamiliar with the story of Ys, King Gradlon, and Dahut before reading this, and have sent myself down a little Internet rabbit hole to learn more about this legend. This graphic novel is beautiful, but its story dark and harsh. That's not a bad thing.

tired of books being labeled as having ace rep when the main character only turns down the supposed love interest!

Loved the style of art, that’s why I picked this up. Definitely NOT a YA book. It had many adult themes. I just wished the story had more of an ending. I know it was based off a folktale but if the author was already retelling it might as well flush it out a bit more🤷🏽‍♀️

Loved the art! The story was very creepy and well done. I just am left wondering why Dahut would do what her father asked if she hated him so much.

Not my cup of tea. I found the story a bit absent in some parts due to a great number of frames without dialogue. It confused me at times and pulled me out of the story. It's likely that I am not the audience they were shooting for.
