I feel like I could sum up this book with two words, “Wait, what?” Of any Discworld book I feel this was the most confusing one yet. There are a lot of weird things going on and I don’t feel much of it was explained very well. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what exactly was going on. This mainly is what kept me from giving this book a perfect 5. Outside of these confusions, I do feel overall this was a great story. There were a lot of very great moments and a lot of great laughs in this book. I also did find myself really invested, despite the occasional scratching of the head. It is sad seeing how this is the last book in the Death series. Yes I know Death will probably appear in other books, but it is sad to have this be the last one focused around this character. I have greatly enjoyed the Death series books and would highly recommend someone to read only the Death books if they aren’t interested in investing in the commitment of the entire Discworld series.

Quite like Susan, good plot, but some parts felt a little dragged out. Great read.
