I would give it a four stars for the plot & ending, but three stars for enjoyability. The writing style was not my favorite, and the woman feeling bad for herself so she puts up with a man trope is not my favorite, but the mystery aspect was really riveting!

Somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. It seems most readers enjoyed this one way more than I did!
I thought it was entertaining and it kept me reading, however I felt the plot was a bit over the top. The story also had some tropes I'm not a fan of, so I understand why it worked for other but not really for me!

This book was a bit of a mess. It started out fine but once the first twist was revealed it all sort of fell apart. It’s like the author decided to do a million little twists with no build up or satisfying reveal instead of an actual well crafted twist. I finished and just felt kind of like “well, that was stupid.”
