One of my favorites. Read it twice. Made me want to get my butt off the sofa, and go for a run. Loved the characters, the adventure, and the ending. Very pleasant read.

The best book I have ever read in my 16 years of life !!! I love running and this is just the best of the best. Awesome characters, great plot, nice running stats and history. If it was a movie, I would destroy the replay button !

Underdogs. Bullies. Corruption. Impossible odds. Sportsmanship. Honor. Perseverance. Generosity. Love. And, for those who swing that way, ultrarunning.
The story was a tad formulaic but the writing was superb. Although I'll never fully understand ultras, McNab has brought me ever so slightly closer to their world. In a good way.
