This book took me, what, 3 to 4 hours to finish it? I could not stop reading. The book has its flaws but it was still so fun to read it. The relationship between Dutch and Cadence, the tension and longing. Who bothered me the most in this book was Cadence, somehow. Yes, she was firing back but she was still so naive to many things. I really would love to get to know the Cross Family more, like each of the brothers. Especially Finn, this dude, I don’t know. There is so much more to him, I hope the author did him justice at least! Just saying, poor Zane 😭 And Jinx?? I have my suspicions and I love how this book gives off Gossip Girl vibes. I can’t wait to find out more in Book 3.
