GAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Isn't it wonderful, how words and paper can enthral us so? We are witnessing a miracle, dear heart." (75)

"Please tell me you're joking."
"Jokes are the declarations of fools." (198)

"If I could choose anyone on Earth, it would still be you, Paige Mahoney." (274)

"As ever, you defy conventional means of achieving your aims, Paige."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"That was my intention." (320)

"I would sooner be your secret than her trophy, displayed for all to see." (417)

"Clearly," Didion Waite said, his eyes popping, "this is an elaborate jest."
"You're an elaborate jest, Didion," Jimmy said. (494)

This was so action packed from the jump and I hung on every word. Seeing Paige and Warden accept their little secret romance was amazing. My final parting thought it please please please kill off Jaxon I beg of you Samantha.

Struggling between 3.5 and 4 stars! I did really enjoy it and powered through it in a few days. Although, found some bits hard to follow and felt the more action aspects were just confusing.. like during the scrimmage I was like eh? (maybe I'm just an idiot tho idk lol.) I think I'm in the minority when I say I enjoyed the first 40% before Warden showed up. It was interesting to see Paige have to re adjust to life back on the streets especially when dealing with some aspects of PTSD from her life in the colony.

But I'm fully invested and really want to continue this series to find out what happens next, and I swear if Paige and Warden dance around each other's feeling one more time I- JUST GET TOGETHER DANG IT, I WILL SUPPORT A SECRET RELATIONSHIP

so bring on THE SONG RISING
